Artist Tim Rogerson, known for his transformative artistic interpretations, has boldly brought together some of the most respected rock and roll musicians of our time. This fantasy collaboration celebrates the older generation's influence over the new and asks the question, "What music would this collaboration produce?"The subjects in this piece were carefully considered by Mr. Rogerson. They are, from left to right: BB King, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, John Frusciante, Keith Richards, Carlos Santana, and Chuck Berry. Each musician carries an artistic replication of the guitar they are famous for playing.
Proceeds from the sale of this painting will benefit VH1 - Save the Music Foundation, which helps develop sustainable music programs that provide children with equal access to music education regardless of their financial situation.
